Water is the Enemy of Electronics
A standard sprinkler system might put out a fire in your server room, but it will destroy your equipment and data in the process.
SOS Fire Services installs and maintains advanced Clean Agent Systems designed to detect and suppress fires in seconds without using a drop of water. These systems are safe for people, safe for the environment, and leave no residue behind.
The Agents We Use: FM-200® & Novec 1230™
We offer the Amerex CPS (Clean Agent Pre-engineered System), utilizing the industry's most trusted chemical agents.
3M™ Novec 1230™
Eco-Friendly Choice
The sustainable choice. It has a global warming potential of 1 and an atmospheric life of just 5 days. It offers the greatest margin of safety for occupied spaces.
DuPont™ FM-200®
Industry Standard
The world's most widely used clean agent, protecting over 100,000 applications globally. It stops fires fast and is fully approved for use in occupied areas.
How It Works: Intelligent Detection & Suppression
Our systems don't just wait for heat; they actively detect smoke particles before a fire grows. The system operates in a dual-stage process to prevent false alarms.
1
Stage 1: Alert
The first zone detector senses smoke. A bell sounds, and a signal is sent to the building's fire panel. The system is armed but holds fire.
2
Stage 2: Action
If smoke reaches the second detector, the system initiates a 30-second countdown.
3
Discharge
Unless the "Abort" button is held by personnel, the clean agent is released, flooding the room and extinguishing the fire in less than 10 seconds.
Ideal Applications
Clean Agent systems are the standard for any facility where "downtime" is not an option or where contents are irreplaceable.

Why Choose Our Pre-Engineered Systems?
Cost-Effective: Our pre-engineered design meets all NFPA 2001 requirements without the expensive custom flow calculations of larger systems.
Space Saving: Modular cylinders can be tucked into corners, and nozzles don't require complex piping over expensive equipment.
Fast Installation: Plug & Play wiring ensures we get your system up and running quickly with minimal disruption to your operations.
Title 19 & UL 300 Certified
Is Your Server Room Actually Sealed?
Meeting NFPA 2001 Standards with Room Integrity Fan Testing.
Even the most advanced Clean Agent system is useless if the gas escapes before it can extinguish the fire. According to NFPA 2001 standards, a "Total Flooding" system must maintain a specific concentration level (usually 85%) within the room for at least 10 minutes to effectively suppress a fire. If your room has leaks through ceiling tiles, cable penetrations, or unsealed doors the agent will dissipate, and the fire may re-ignite.
Warning
A leaking room means your expensive clean agent discharge could fail to suppress the fire, putting your equipment, data, and business at risk.
What is a Door Fan Test?
To ensure compliance without discharging your expensive gas, we perform a non-destructive Room Integrity Fan Test.

3
The Process
We temporarily install a specialized fan unit in the doorway of your protected space.
Pressurization
The fan blows air into the room to measure leakage under pressure.
Depressurization
The fan is reversed to draw air out, measuring leakage under suction.
The Result
Our computer software analyzes the airflow readings to calculate the Equivalent Leakage Area (ELA). We tell you immediately if your room passes or fails.
Compliance & Safety
This test is required upon new system installation and is often requested annually by insurance carriers. If leaks are found, SOS Fire Services can help identify the breach points so you can seal them and achieve certification.
Stay Compliant. Stay Safe.
Don't wait for a violation. Schedule your semi-annual inspection today.
