Los Angeles is served by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), whose Fire Code combines the California Fire Code with the Los Angeles amendments. A business that needs an operational fire permit is inspected by an LAFD Fire Inspector before the permit is granted, and fire permit renewals are due December 31.

Fire protection equipment testing in LAFD's jurisdiction follows Chief's Regulation No. 4: defects found in a test must be corrected within 30 days of it, high-rise buildings (75 feet or taller) file their test reports through The Compliance Engine, and other properties forward reports as their Fire Inspector directs. SOS is registered with The Compliance Engine and uploads the high-rise reports for the systems we service.

Excellent service. My restaurant had a grease fire on Labor Day weekend and the fire suppression system needed emergency repairs and recharging. Zohar and Juan were able to come out on Sunday and get the system back up and running. Very professional and friendly. Also, Zohar patiently answered all my questions and explained the process of his work. Would 100 percent recommend them and we will be using them for ongoing maintenance.
